Pollock Lifts raises over £1790 for Charity

at the Grant Thornton Airport Runway 5K Run

Staff from Pollock Lifts took part in the first ever Grant Thornton Charity Runway Run to raise money for the Helping Hand Charity for Sick Children; established by the medical staff at the Royal Victoria Belfast Hospital in 1997 with the single aim of helping children in their care.

The event was held at the George Best Belfast City Airport covering 5km of runway late at night. Our team put in a lot of devotion and training to finish with very competitive times.

Pollock Lifts has raised a grand total of £1792.91. Nigel Kearney, director of the charity will visit our head office soon to thank our dedicated team and to update us on the total amount raised from the event.
