Pollocks' Steplift Installed at Tayto Park

for disabled access to the CĂș Chulainn Roller Coaster

Pollock Lifts' Independence 3 metre Steplift has been installed at Tayto Park in Ireland, to assist people with disabilities. Tayto recently opened Europe's largest wooden rollercoaster in Co. Meath that can reach speeds of over 60 mph.

Our Public Access Specialist, Paul Shields, worked closely with the Tayto Park General Manager, Charles Coyle, and structural design engineers to facilitate the lift package design and integration at the attraction entrance, to maximise the flow of traffic for less abled park visitors.

The Independence 3 metre Steplift is ideal for both commercial and residential applications. It can be installed both indoors and outdoors providing disabled access to changes of level up to 3 metres. With a weight capacity of 500kg it is one of the most cost effective models in today's market. The Lift is able to handle a high level of differing types of users every day and Tayto Facilities Manager, Roy Plunkett, is also very impressed with the reliability and robustness.

We are very pleased to be associated with Tayto Park and Europe's largest wooden rollercoaster. We wish Tayto Park continued success with their venture.
