Pollock Lifts – Customer Referral Scheme
Terms & Conditions
- Promoter
The promoter of this referral scheme is Pollock Lifts (“Pollock Lifts”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
- Scheme Overview
The Pollock Lifts Referral Scheme (“Scheme”) allows eligible existing customers to receive a reward for referring a new customer who proceeds to purchase and install a qualifying lift, subject to these Terms & Conditions.
- Eligibility to Participate
- The Scheme is open only to existing Pollock Lifts customers who have previously purchased and had a lift installed by Pollock Lifts.
- Participants must be aged 18 years or over and resident in the United Kingdom.
- Employees of Pollock Lifts, its agents, contractors, or anyone professionally connected with the Scheme are excluded from participation.
- Who Can Be Referred
- A referred person (“Referee”) must be a new customer who has not previously entered into a contract with Pollock Lifts.
- Referrals are valid only for installations within Pollock Lifts’ normal operating areas (including Northern Ireland where applicable).
- Self-referrals are not permitted.
- How the Referral Process Work
- To comply with data protection laws, existing customers must not provide personal contact details of third parties without their explicit consent.
- Referrals should be made by encouraging the Referee to contact Pollock Lifts directly and state that they were referred by the existing customer.
- Pollock Lifts will only associate a referral with a participant where the Referee clearly identifies the referring customer at the time of first enquiry.
- What Constitutes a Successful Referral
- A referral will be deemed successful only when all of the following conditions are met:
- The Referee enters into a contract with Pollock Lifts for a qualifying lift;
- The Referee pays in full for the lift;
- The lift is installed and commissioned;
- Any applicable statutory cooling-off period has expired; and
- No cancellation, refund, or chargeback occurs.
- Quotes, surveys, or orders that do not result in a completed installation do not qualify.
- Referral Rewards
- Home Lift Referral Reward
Where a successful referral results in the installation of a qualifying home lift, the referring customer will receive a £750 Amazon digital gift voucher, sent by email
- Stairlift Referral Reward (Northern Ireland only)
Where a successful referral results in the installation of a stairlift in Northern Ireland, the referring customer will receive a £100 Amazon digital gift voucher, sent by email.
- The reward will be issued within 30 days of the successful installation and completion of all conditions set out in clause 6.
- The reward is issued to the referring customer only and cannot be transferred.
- Reward Conditions
- There is no cash alternative to the Amazon voucher.
- The reward will be issued exactly as described in these Terms & Conditions.
- Pollock Lifts is not responsible for the use, expiry, or terms of the Amazon voucher, which are subject to Amazon’s own terms and conditions.
- Limits on Referrals
- Pollock Lifts reserves the right to impose reasonable limits on the number of referrals or rewards per customer.
- Multiple referrals for the same Referee will result in only one reward, issued to the customer first identified by the Referee.
- Misuse and Fraud
- Pollock Lifts reserves the right to withhold or withdraw rewards where it reasonably believes there has been misuse, abuse, or fraudulent behaviour, including but not limited to:
- Providing personal data without consent;
- Attempting to manipulate or artificially inflate referrals;
- Breach of these Terms & Conditions.
- Tax
- Referral rewards may be subject to tax.
- Any tax liability arising from receipt of a referral reward is the sole responsibility of the recipient. Pollock Lifts accepts no liability in this regard.
- Data Protection (GDPR)
- Pollock Lifts will process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and its Privacy Policy.
- Participants must ensure that any Referee is aware of and consents to their referral before mentioning the participant’s name.
- Pollock Lifts will not accept responsibility for referrals submitted in breach of data protection laws.
- Advertising and Communications
- All promotional materials will include key information about the Scheme, with full Terms & Conditions clearly signposted and easily accessible.
- Headline claims will not exaggerate the benefit and are always subject to these Terms & Conditions.
- Changes to or Withdrawal of the Scheme
- Pollock Lifts reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the Scheme at any time, provided that any referrals already validated as successful will be honoured.
- Governing Law
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
