Customer Requirements
The customer required a bespoke lift located outside of the premises, for accessibility reasons to classrooms down a set of steps, a concrete ramp was not suitable due to the proposed length of the ramp and a lift was recommended as the better option for the needs of the customer.
Our Solution
We recommended the A5000 platform lift, as the school had a number of classrooms located down a set of steps from the main school building and concrete ramp was not feasible due to the proposed length.
An enclosed platform lift was considered as a better option to be installed so that users were sheltered whilst travelling between levels.
